Why BibimBio
BibimBio is inspired by bibimbap, one of the most iconic Korean food.
Bibimbap combines rice with a variety of ingredients—vegetables, egg, and gochujang—
creating a balanced and unified dish.
In the same way, biotechnology is built on diverse components, including scientific theory, drug development strategies, regulatory frameworks, and rapidly evolving industry trends.
BibimBio reflects this concept by integrating fragmented biotech knowledge into structured and practical insights.

Integrated Knowledge
Understanding biotech requires more than theory.
BibimBio provides insights grounded in real industry experience, especially in biopharmaceutical development.
Simplified Complexity
Biotech concepts can be complex and difficult to interpret.
BibimBio translates technical knowledge into clear and structured explanations for practical understanding.
Real-World Perspective
Understanding biotech requires more than theory.
BibimBio provides insights grounded in real industry experience, especially in biopharmaceutical development.
Shared from Experience
BibimBio shares curated insights from an industry professional perspective.
Focused on practical experience, it aims to support peers and junior professionals navigating real-world biotech challenges.
About the Author
The author of BibimBio holds a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology and a Master’s degree from the same field.
After graduation, he began his career in an analytical team at a company specializing in protein-based therapeutics.
During this time, he gained hands-on experience in LC-based and CE-based analytical method development, stability studies, analytical method transfer, and CTD documentation.
He later expanded his expertise into formulation development, working on both novel biologics and biosimilars. His experience includes drug product formulation development, manufacturing process development (liquid, lyophilized, and pre-filled syringe), and continued involvement in CTD documentation.
Through these experiences, BibimBio is built upon practical knowledge from real-world biopharmaceutical development.
